Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mercury removal system and the like capable of removing vaporized mercury generated upon pulverization of raw coal.SOLUTION: Provided is a mercury removal system 1 provided at a gasification system including: a fine coal machine 122 of pulverizing raw coal and drying the same into fine coal; a fine coal collecting machine 123 of collecting the fine coal exhausted from the fine coal machine 122 and separating the same into fine coal and a dry gas; a gasification furnace 113 of gasifying the fine coal separated by the fine coal collecting machine 123; and a gas exhaust line L4 through which the dry gas separated by the fine coal collecting machine 123 circulates. The system includes: a powder feeding apparatus 11 connected to the gas exhaust line L4 and feeding mercury removing powder of removing mercury included in the dry gas into the dry gas circulating through the gas exhaust line L4; and a mercury removing powder collecting machine 12 connected to the gas exhaust line L4 in the downstream side of the connection part between the gas exhaust line L4 and the powder feeding apparatus 11, collecting dust in the mercury removing powder and separating the same into the mercury removing powder and a purified gas.
