Abstract:
To suppress formation of wrinkles on an outer part when manufacturing a metal foil compact which has a three-dimensional shape such as a protrusion part or the like on an inner part, thereby providing a product with improved beauty.SOLUTION: A metal foil sheet body 50 is set to a molding die 20 comprising overhang molding parts 21, 22 and a pair of wrinkle presser parts 25A, 25B. In the state that an outer region 52 is pinched and pressed by the pair of wrinkle presser parts 25A, 25B and movement of the outer region 52 in an in-plane direction is blocked or restricted, an inner region 51 is overhang-molded into a predetermined three-dimensional shape by the overhang molding parts 21, 22. Since movement of the outer region 52 in the in-plane direction is blocked or restricted when performing overhang molding of the inner region 51, formation of wrinkles in the outer region 52 is suppressed. Since an area of the outer region 52 is so set as to be larger than an area of the inner region 51, a required pressing force can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
