Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle measuring gauge which allows a change of a type of a sensor to be used.SOLUTION: The vehicle measuring gauge includes a display unit 126 for displaying a measured value for a specific measuring target, a first signal input circuit 121 for inputting an analog electric signal equivalent to the measured value of the measuring target, a second signal input circuit 122 for inputting a digital electric signal equivalent to the measured value of the measuring target, and a measured value selection control unit 110 for selecting one of the analog electric signal and the digital electric signal to display the measured value of the selected electric signal on the display unit. The waveform or the level of an input signal from a sensor is identified, and the type of the signal of the actually connected sensor is automatically recognized. Switching of the type of the sensor is enabled by a CAN signal applied to the control unit 110 from the outside.
