Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument for wheeled vehicles that displays indication of information on the vehicle equipped therewith by rotating a pointer and permits ready checkup of prescribed values.SOLUTION: A measuring instrument for wheeled vehicles comprises a rotating pointer, a display board equipped with an indicator part to be pointed by the pointer and control means B that processes normal control to cause rotation according to vehicle information and starting control to rotate the pointer in accordance with operation to start the vehicle irrespective of the vehicle information. The control means B, in the processing of starting control, rotates the pointer from one end side of the indicator part to a prescribed value, which is either a set value regarding displayed contents of the pointer and the display board or a past measured value and, after that, keeps the pointer at halt for a prescribed length of time.
