Abstract:
To appropriately calculate the wetness factor of active material to coat liquid.SOLUTION: A method for calculating the wetness factor of active material to coat liquid includes a first step, a second step, a third step, and a fourth step. The first step includes adding a phosphor to the coat liquid to obtain a fluorescent solution. The second step includes obtaining an evaluation sample including the fluorescent solution and the active material. The third step includes obtaining a fluorescent image of the evaluation sample and a laser reflection image in the same visual field as the fluorescent image by using a confocal laser microscope. The fourth step includes calculating the wetness factor of the active material in the evaluation sample based on an area α in which the fluorescent solution specified from the fluorescent image is present, an area β in which the active material specified from the laser reflection image is present, and an area γ in which the area α and the area β specified from the fluorescent image and the laser reflection image overlap each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
