Abstract:
The method involves configuring an association between an apparatus and a remote control key. The association is transmitted by a request from the apparatus to an application programming interface (API) managing remote control of another apparatus. Control information identifying active key is transmitted by the latter apparatus towards the former, when the key is activated. The former apparatus is associated with the key. An Independent claim is also included for an apparatus connected to a communication network.
