Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method which allows cutting while preventing the floating of fine pile dust formed when a fibrous pile material such as a pile woven fabric or a pile knitted fabric is cut.SOLUTION: In order to cut fibrous pile 4 with a cutting blade 6 which is vertically moved, thereby obtaining a desired shape, a first one-sided adhesive tape 8 having adhesiveness on one side of the tape is interposed between the cutting blade 6 and a holding base 7 of a material to be cut. The adhesive surface of the one-sided adhesive tape 8 is disposed so as to be on the front surface side of the pile 4. A member to be cut, comprising the one-sided adhesive tape 8 and the pile 4, is substantially simultaneously cut with the cutting blade to form a desired shape. Thus, the floating of pile dust and fuzz caused by cutting is prevented upon the cutting. In addition, the pile dust formed by the cutting is adhered to the one-sided adhesive tape 8 on the uppermost part, and thereby the pile dust is removed from the one-sided adhesive tape 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
