Title:
Methods, equipment and computer programs for identifying high-intensity components in coal.
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6342280
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for analyzing coal which uses a microscope, and can eliminate variations affected by measurers and shorten an analysis time.SOLUTION: A method for analyzing coal comprises: steps (ST1-2) of storing a first image obtained by imaging a coal sample in a state of the horizontal Nicol's prism assuming that an angle of the polarizer to the analyzer is 0°, by using an epi-illumination type polarizing microscope having an analyzer and a polarizer, and a second image obtained by imaging the same part as the first image while assuming that the angle of the polarizer to the analyzer is 80° or more and 90° or less, in a memory unit; steps (ST3, 4) of performing OR operation of the first image and the second image, and generating a monochromatic image obtained by gray scaling of the image generated by the OR operation; and steps (ST5-8) of identifying that the pixel of the brightness brighter than a predetermined standard brightness value is the pixel corresponding to the high luminance component among multiple pixels constituting the monochromatic image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
