Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid disadvantages of a cable peeling process with known multilayer sheaths and optimize and improve them.SOLUTION: In the method for peeling a cable (3) having a novel multilayer sheath (5), initially, an initial layer (10) of the sheath (5) of the cable (3) is cut in a peeling device (6) using at least one peeling blade (4, 4'). Subsequently, a laser beam of a laser cutting device (8) is used to cut an inner layer (11) of the sheath (5) located on the opposite side of a first layer. The peeling process is completed by removal of the sheath (5) cut using the peeling blade (4, 4') and the laser beam (7).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
