Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a metallic film capable of suppressing the phenomenon that the shape of a metallic film is made into the fanwise one as it goes from the surface of a cathode to the film thickness direction of a solid electrolyte and suppressing the variation of the shape of the formed metallic film.SOLUTION: In a space between an anode and a cathode, a solid electrolyte membrane impregnated with metal ions so as to be contacted with the cathode is installed, and electric current is made to flow between the anode and the cathode to form a metal film derived from the metal ions on the surface of the cathode. As a pretreatment to the formation of the metal film, the surface of the cathode is contacted with a pretreatment solution containing chlorine ions, a non-ionic surfactant, a sulfur-based organic compound and a dye.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
