Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-like matter which has formation equal or superior to that before addition, in impregnating a porous sheet-like matter comprising carbon fiber with a liquid having a conductive solid dispersed therein.SOLUTION: In a method for impregnating a porous sheet-like matter comprising carbon fiber with a liquid having a conductive solid dispersed therein by making the sheet-like matter pass through an unsubmerged guide roll, a submerged guide roll, and an unsubmerged guide roll in this order so as to pass through the liquid, when the contact start point of the submerged guide roll and the sheet-like matter is denoted by A, the contact end point is denoted by B, and the intersection of a line drawn vertically downward from the shaft line of the submerged guide roll with the periphery of the submerged guide roll is denoted by C, the liquid level of the liquid is located at a position lower than, or identical to, the contact start point A and the contact end point B of the submerged guide roll and the sheet-like matter and higher than the intersection C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
