Abstract:
In a staple-binding process for the production of a magazine or a brochure, the pages are folded and placed on a saddle wire conveyer to a staple station. After stapling, a bonding agent is applied to the mid-page fold line that is then covered by a strip of paper. A commensurate quantity of a bonding agent is than applied to the outer spine, followed by the application of the cover. also claimed is a commensurate binding assembly.
