Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for correctly measuring 'wetting' state of the surface of granules in the fluidization chamber of a granulating machine and for controlling the ejection of coating liquid always in a desired range. CONSTITUTION: In a granulating machine 1, hot air is introduced into a fuidization chamber 2, and granules 5 are coated with injected coating liquid or binding liquid 6. The number of particles scattering in exhaust gas which is discharged from the chamber 2 through an exhaust duct is counted, and when the number becomes greater, the ejection of the coating liquid or the binding liquid 6 is intensified judging that 'wetting' is short. When the number becomes smaller, the ejection of the coating liquid or the binding liquid 6 is moderated judging that 'wetting' is excessive.
