Abstract:
To provide a method for preparing a measurement sample which is used for measurement of particle size distribution and/or particle shape of powder which are dispersed uniformly on a measurement plate without occurrence of particle crushing and particle overlap even if the powder contains particles having high brittleness and high solubility, and also to provide a method for measuring the particle size distribution and/or particle shape using the prepared measurement sample.SOLUTION: When measurement of particle diameter of powder to be measured is performed and the maximum particle diameter of the particles contained in the powder to be measured is r(μm), a net having openings exceeding r(μm) is selected and installed on a measurement plate of a particle size distribution analyzer, then the powder to be measured is dispersed on the measurement plate by being dropped through openings of the net.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
