PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means and a method for producing a product such as coal, asphalt, liquid hydrocarbon, organic acid, and methane gas and/or hydrogen from a waste material.SOLUTION: A method includes: preparing a waste material which contains 50% or more of a biogenic organic material with respect to a dry weight, 9-85% of carbon, 1-15% of hydrogen, and 0-50% of oxygen, in a reaction tank having a double metal wall; irradiating the waste material with low frequency microwave having a wavelength of 700 nm-1 mm; setting a temperature of the waste material at 205-900°C and a pressure thereof at 1.0-19.0 bar; and producing a product of a graphite-like material. A method also includes: subjecting a gaseous residual material to a physicochemical reaction in the presence of solid iron metal at 180-500°C under a pressure of 0.98-5.5 bar so as to manufacture an asphalt product. A method further includes: subjecting a gaseous residual material to a physicochemical reaction in the presence of solid copper at 50-150°C under a pressure of 0.95-1.5 bar so as to produce an organic acid; and cooling a remaining gaseous residual material so as to collect methane gas and hydrogen.SELECTED DRAWING: None
