Abstract:
A composition for manufacturing a formed article which comprises starch, a pulverized plant fiber or an organic fertilizer obtained by treating garbage as a main material, characterized in that the composition is produced by a method comprising mixing the main material with wheat flour and a binder and kneading the resultant mixture homogeneously; and a formed article manufactured from the composition. The composition can be used for manufacturing, without the use of a synthetic resin, a formed article which has a capability of being formed similar to that of a formed article from a synthetic resin and also can be decomposed by a microbe or an ultraviolet ray.
