To provide a technology can obtain a recycled zirconia powder by reusing as a material zirconia in a fuel battery cell containing zirconia or reusing zirconia in the fuel battery cell containing zirconia and ceria, and obtain a zirconia sintered body, especially, a zirconia sintered body sheet by reusing the recycled zirconia powder with high quality.
The manufacturing method of a recycled zirconia powder using a fuel battery cell containing zirconia includes (A) a process (first cell dissolution process) in which an electrode material is dissolved by treating the fuel battery cell with acid, (B) a process (pulverization process) in which the zirconia material obtained in the first cell dissolution process is pulverized.
