Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chloride ion-free and metal salt-free unsaturated quaternary ammonium salt excellent in compatibility, used suitably for various electrochemical devices, and having a continuously excellent antistatic effect, and to provide an antistatic agent comprising an unsaturated quaternary ammonium salt.SOLUTION: After a tertiary amine compound is reacted with a trifluoromethanesulfonic acid ester in the presence of an organic solvent, the organic solvent is removed by inert gas bubbling, to thereby synthesize at high yield, a high-purity unsaturated quaternary ammonium salt compound represented by general formula (1) (in the formula, Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, Rand Reach independently represent 1-3C alkyl group which may be the same or different, Rrepresents 1-3C alkyl group or aryl group, and Z represents 1-3C alkylene group), and then an antistatic layer is formed by using an oligomer and/or a polymer comprising the compound as an antistatic effective component.
