Abstract:
The method comprises: single-stage or multi-stage washing of crude aromatic nitro compound to give an organic phase and an aqueous phase and/or separation of the aqueous phase or the aqueous phases; optionally removing an organic component from a portion of the aqueous phase or aqueous phases obtained in the washing of crude aromatic nitro compound by stripping with a water vapor; and removing an organic compound from the portion of the aqueous phase or aqueous phases resulting from the washing of nitro compound or removal of organic component by thermal and/or oxidative degradation. The method comprises: single-stage or multi-stage washing of crude aromatic nitro compound to give an organic phase and an aqueous phase and/or separation of the aqueous phase or the aqueous phases; optionally removing an organic component from a portion of the aqueous phase or aqueous phases obtained in the washing of crude aromatic nitro compound by stripping with a water vapor; removing an organic compound from the portion of the aqueous phase or aqueous phases resulting from the washing of nitro compound or removal of organic component by thermal and/or oxidative degradation; distillative depletion of ammonia from the portion of the aqueous phase or aqueous phases resulting from the removal of the organic compound; and optionally supplying the portion of the aqueous phase resulting from the depletion of ammonia to a biological wastewater treatment. The pH value of the aqueous phase after washing of nitro compound is 6. A steam phase resulting from the removal of the organic component is: utilized for an indirect heat transmission into the depletion of ammonia; and introduced as heat exchanger into an evaporator (8) within the framework of the depletion of ammonia. The heat exchanger is partially reduced in connection to the depletion of ammonia into the washing of nitro compound. The heat exchangers in condensed form in connection to the depletion of ammonia of a phase separation are subjected to obtain the aqueous phase and the organic phase, where the organic phase in the washing of nitro compound and the aqueous phase in the removal of organic component are recycled. The step of depleting the ammonia is carried out in a distillation column at a temperature of 50-160[deg] C and an absolute pressure of 0.1-10 bar measured in a head of the column. The content of ammonia in the aqueous phase in connection at the depletion of ammonia is 100 ppm. The step of removing the organic component is: a thermolytic treatment; and carried out at a pressure of 50-350 bar and a temperature of 150-500[deg] C. The aqueous phase or the aqueous phases resulting from the removal of organic compound is completely fed to the depletion of ammonia.
