Abstract:

To provide an efficient and economical treatment method of a high-concentration organic material which enables biodegradation, such as activated sludge treatment by efficiently solubilizing solid matter in the high-concentration organic material, such as surplus sludge and anaerobic digested sludge generated by an activated sludge method, and a food residue, such as Shochu lees, and is free from environmental pollution by remarkably reducing the amount of the solid matter requiring treatment, such as landfill or incineration.

In the solubilization method of the solid matter in the high-concentration organic material, such as the surplus sludge and food residue, the high-concentration organic material is filled in a pressure container, and the solid matter in the high-concentration organic material is oxidatively decomposed by an oxidizing agent without using a catalyst to be solubilized under the condition that temperature in the container is 150-250°C, and pressure in the container is 0.6-10 MPa.
