To provide a treating method of concentrated wastewater from a pure water producing apparatus and a treatment apparatus for the concentrated wastewater in which regenerated wastewater is treated, the treated liquid is reused as pure water raw material to greatly reduce discharge amount of waste to the outside of the system, and to greatly enhance the recovery rate of the waste, the regenerated wastewater being generated in a large amount from the pure water producing apparatus, containing salts, organic matter, acidic and alkaline components derived from a pure water use process or a regenerant, suspended substances (SS) or water treatment agents for preventing contamination, high concentrations of salt and organic matter.

Regenerated wastewater from the pure water producing apparatus is subjected to a distillation process, vapor containing organic volatile components is condensed, subjected to a biological treatment in the co-existence of mineral-containing water, subjected to solid/liquid separation to recover treated water for use as the raw material of pure water.
