Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mirror system for a vehicle, in which an electronic inner mirror for a vehicle can be switched, in accordance with various situations, to any one of a display state where an image of the rear of a vehicle is displayed by a display device and a reflection state where the rear of the vehicle is reflected by an optical reflection.SOLUTION: A mirror system 10 for a vehicle includes: an electronic inner mirror capable of switching between a display state where an image of the rear of a vehicle photographed by a camera 16 that is provided at the rear portion of the vehicle is displayed on a monitor 14 and a reflection state where the rear of the vehicle is reflected by an optical reflection; and a control unit 18 performing a control to switch the electronic inner mirror to any one of the display state and the reflection state when criteria for the visibility of the rear of the vehicle are satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
