Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator capable of generating a traveling wave.SOLUTION: A flexible member 120 includes three-layered flat spaces 122, 124 and 126 laminated in a height direction, and extension in a longitudinal direction is restricted in a boundary 123 between the first layer 122 and the second layer 124 and a boundary 125 between the second layer 124 and the third layer 126. A first tube 130 is periodically inserted into the three-layered flat spaces 122, 124 and 126 in the order of the first layer, the second layer, the third layer, and the second layer, and a second tube 132 is periodically inserted in the order of the second layer, the third layer, the second layer, and the first layer, and a third tube 134 is periodically inserted in the order of the third layer, the second layer, the first layer, and the second layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
