Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feather product having enhanced heat insulation property by enhancing moisture absorptive heat generating property without deteriorating nature of feather, and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: There is provided a feather product by adding moisture absorptive heat generating property to feather, where a part of disulfide (-S-S-) bond in the feather molecule is reduction cut in a reductant solution and swelled to produce a mercapto group (-SH), and a reactive compound forming an irreversibility block group containing a hydrophilic group and a polyfunctional group is chemically bound to the mercapto group (-SH).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
