Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molecule detection device capable of detecting a gas composition of extremely low concentration selectively with high sensitivity regardless of the type of a gas component.SOLUTION: A molecule detection device 1 comprises: a collection part 10 for collecting detection object gas 3 including detected molecules 2; a substitution unit 20 for substituting a part of a molecular structure of at least a part of the collected detected molecules 2 and generating substitution products; a detector 30 having a plurality of detection cells, which have organic matter probes provided at a sensor part respectively, for capturing the detected molecules or the substitution products; and a discriminator 40 for discriminating the detected molecules by a signal pattern based on intensity difference of a detection signal generated when the detected molecules or the substitution products are captured by the organic matter probes of the plurality of detection cells.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
