Abstract:
To provide a currency processor capable of, in processing of counting coins, immediately and smoothly collecting coins targeted for counting and coins not targeted for counting.SOLUTION: A currency depositing and dispensing machine includes a coin deposit port 13, coin dispensing boxes 16a, 16b, a conveyance unit 107 for conveying coins, a branch mechanism 112 for distributing the coins conveyed by the conveyance unit 107 to the coin dispensing boxes 16a, 16b, an identification unit 108 for identifying coins, and a control unit. In processing of counting coins input to the coin deposit port 13, the control unit distributes a counted coin identified as a target of counting by the identification unit 108 to the coin dispensing box 16a, and distributes a rejected coin identified as a non-target of counting by the identification unit 108 to the coin dispensing box 16b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
