Abstract:
To provide a currency processing device capable of printing balance information of currency stored in a storage unit before restriction of access to the storage unit is released.SOLUTION: A coin processing device 1 includes an input unit into which a coin is input, a storage bag, a conveyance unit for conveying the coin to the storage bag, an identification unit 29 for counting the coin, a sealing mechanism for sealing a storage opening of the storage bag, an operation unit 26 for accepting a completion operation, a lock device 308 for regulating access to the storage bag, a control unit 309 and a printing unit. In a state in which access is restricted by the lock device 308, the control unit 309 allows the conveyance unit to convey the coin input into the input unit to the storage bag, and allows the identification unit 29 to count the coin, and when the coin is stored in the storage bag, waits for the operation unit 26 to accept the completion operation, and when the completion operation is accepted, allows the sealing mechanism to seal the storage opening and allows the printing unit to print balance information of currency stored in the storage bag, and then allows the lock device 308 to release the restriction of access.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
