Abstract:
To provide an electric motor assembly that can automatically set a frequency jump band.SOLUTION: An electric motor assembly 1 includes an electric motor 2, an inverter 3 that supplies AC power to the electric motor 2, a vibration sensor 60 fixed to the inverter 3, and a frequency jump control unit 63 that determines a frequency jump band on the basis of an output value of the vibration sensor 60. The inverter 3 is fixed to the electric motor 2. The frequency jump band is within a range of a command frequency to the inverter 3 corresponding to the output value of the vibration sensor 60 which is larger than a threshold value. The frequency jump control unit 63 stops the operation of the electric motor 2 when the output value of the sensor 60 exceeds the threshold value in a case in which the command frequency to the inverter 3 is within the frequency jump band and the inverter 3 outputs AC power having a frequency corresponding to a lower limit value or an upper limit value of the frequency jump band.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
