Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the circuit size and a processing time while executing the speed control of a stepping motor by calculation based on physical theory.SOLUTION: A step time calculation unit 202 calculates a time for a distance of an n-th step (n is a positive integer) in order to calculate a step time which is the application time of a pulse signal for a stepping motor on the basis of a physical theoretical expression that expresses a parameter in an acceleration period or a deceleration period of the stepping motor. The step time calculation unit 202 a time for a distance of the n-th step, which is expressed by using the reciprocal of the derivative f'(t) by applying the Newton's method to the distance x=f(t) which is a function of a time included in the physical theoretical expression. At that time, the reciprocal of the derivative is obtained by applying the Newton's method to the reciprocal of the derivative f'(t).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
