Abstract:
To provide a motor control device allowing for suppression of repetitive abnormalities of rotation of a motor in order to address such a problem that inductance is detected at a temperature different from a predetermined temperature if a motor type is determined after the motor has lost synchronism, accordingly there is a possibility that the type of motor cannot be accurately determined, and to provide a sheet transport device.SOLUTION: A CPU stops driving a motor when the motor loses synchronism. Then, the CPU determines a type of the motor attached to a motor control device. Further, the CPU sets a control value on the basis of the determination result. As a result, repetitive occurrence of the abnormal rotation of the motor can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
