Abstract:
To achieve a motor control device that selectively switches a motor that drives one spindle between two motors, capable of ensuring safety of the spindle even if the motor has an abnormality.SOLUTION: A motor control device 1 includes: a switching unit 11 for selectively switching a motor that drives one spindle 2 between two motors 3-A, 3-B; a position detection unit 12 for detecting positional information of the spindle 2; two motor control units 13-A, 13-B provided for each of the two motors 3-A, 3-B; an abnormality detection unit 14 for detecting an abnormality of a motor that drives the spindle 2 among the two motors 3-A, 3-B; and a safety control unit 15 for switching the motor that drives the spindle 2 from the motor in which an abnormality is detected to a motor in which no abnormality is detected when the abnormality detection unit 14 detects the abnormality of the motor that drives the spindle 2, and stopping the motor in which no abnormality is detected so as to stop the spindle 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
