Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor with a speed reduction mechanism which achieves improvement of quietness while inhibiting cost increase along with further reduction of the size and weight.SOLUTION: A motor with a speed reduction mechanism has: a first helical gear 62 made of resin; an intermediate shaft 60 made of steel; and a gear fixing mechanism GF between the first helical gear 62 and the intermediate shaft 60. The gear fixing mechanism GF includes: first and second keys 65a, 65b provided at the intermediate shaft 60 and protruding to the radial outer side of the intermediate shaft 60; and an annular steel plate 66 where a pair of engagement recessed parts 66b with which the first and second keys 65a, 65b are engaged are provided at the radial inner side and four engagement protruding parts 66c with which axial end parts of the first helical gear 62 are engaged are provided at the radial outer side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
