Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor capable of suppressing reduction in the lifetime of a power supply brush with a low electroresistance value among multiple power supply brushes.SOLUTION: A rectifier 45 comprises multiple segments 48 that are arranged side by side in a circumferential direction. Two power supply brushes 64 of positive electrodes and two power supply brushes 64 of negative electrodes are successively brought into slide-contact with the multiple segments 48 with rotations of the rectifier 45. One of the power supply brushes 64 of each electrode is first power supply brushes 81 and 83, respectively, of which the electroresistance value is varied in a rotation direction R of the rectifier 45, and the other of power supply brushes 64 of each electrode is second power supply brushes 82 and 84, respectively, of which the electroresistance value is fixed in the rotation direction R. The first power supply brushes 81 and 83 include: high resistance parts 91 provided in a portion including front-side ends of the first power supply brushes 81 and 83 in the rotation direction R; and low resistance parts 92 which are arranged in parallel with the high resistance parts 91 in the rotation direction R and in which the electroresistance value is lower than that in the high resistance parts 91.
