PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion detection device including a mechanism for adjusting a direction of a sensor detection axis of an electronic component unit including a sensor in a desired direction relative to a motion body, such as a golf club to be an evaluation object.SOLUTION: A motion detection device (100) includes: a sensor unit 10 to which an electronic device 13b including a sensor (inertial sensor) for detecting a motion based on a detection axis is mounted; and an adjustment mechanism 17 as an adjustment part for adjusting directions of a holding tool (20) having a fixing part for fixing the sensor unit 10 to a motion body and the detection axis of the inertial sensor (inertial sensor) relative to a motion body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4E
