Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a multi-cylinder engine 10 and the like to suppress occurrence of abnormal sound while performing a light load operation of the engine 10 from the viewpoint of fuel consumption or charge restriction, when there is no charging request to a battery and is a heating request from a crew member at the time of stop of a hybrid vehicle, or there is a charging request to a battery and charging restriction thereto.SOLUTION: A multi-cylinder engine control system for a hybrid vehicle controls, when variation range of output torque between cylinders of the engine 10 is larger than a reference value, output torque of the cylinders except a cylinder having the highest output torque to match to the output torque of the cylinder having the highest output torque if temperature of coolant of the engine 10 is less than a prescribed temperature, and controls the output torque of the cylinders except a cylinder having the lowest output torque to match to the output torque of the cylinder having the lowest output torque if the temperature of the coolant thereof is the prescribed temperature or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
