Abstract:
To provide wax that does not have an adverse effect on an environment even when peeled or discarded, has slidability, protectiveness, water repellency, and durability of the same degree or higher as wax using a conventional paraffin, and can be provided at a low cost.SOLUTION: Wax applied to the sliding surface such as skiing and snowboard containing vegetable oil fats basis formed from soybeans and rice with a melting point of 50°C to 90°C, fiber powder of bamboo having a fiber length of 30 μm or shorter, and vegetable oil fats such as castor oil, in which 40 wt.% to 60 wt.% of the vegetable oil fats basis, 5 wt.% to 15 wt.% of the fiber powder, 35 wt.% to 45 wt.% of the vegetable oil fats are contained to form wax. Furthermore, bamboo charcoal powder is contained at a ratio of 1 to 5 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
