PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device.SOLUTION: An illumination device installed in premises includes: a light generation unit to generate light which includes light patterned so as to include location information of the illumination device that transmits the light; and a control unit to adjust brightness of the light by controlling the generation of light by the light generation unit. The control unit controls an ON and OFF status of the light by using a pattern which indicates network identification information of a wireless network constructed in the premises.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
