Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system, in which a terminal device communicates with a server via a global network, capable of executing a process for handling a situation where those devices cannot communicate with each other via the global network.SOLUTION: A tablet terminal 13 checks communicability with a control server 15 via a global network GN and communicability with a record control unit 16 (controller) via a local area network LN. If the control server 15 is not communicable, the tablet terminal switches the communication target to the record control unit 16 to control a recording unit 12 using a web application that operates on the record control unit 16 and, if the control server 15 is not communicable and the record control unit 16 is not communicable via the local area network LN either, stands by for a predetermined period of time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
