Abstract:

To provide new methods for species identification.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for identifying a specific cell lineage of cells in culture comprising the steps of determining from nucleic acid molecules isolated from recombinant cells in the culture, presence of polymorphisms or SNPs at least 5 different positions within at least five genes contained in the nucleic acid molecules, obtaining a genetic profile from the determination of the previous step, and identifying the cell lineage of the cells in culture from the genetic profile. The recombinant cells produce a recombinant protein.SELECTED DRAWING: None
