Abstract:
The device has a camera (3) for detecting a driving situation in front of a vehicle. A navigating device (11), steering angle sensor (10), rotating rate sensor (15) and radar sensor (16) are utilized such that a roadway on which a vehicle is to be driven by a driver is determined. The determined roadway is shown in a display unit (8) for representing a driving situation in front of the vehicle. A warning symbol or a direction symbol is displayed in the display unit. An independent claim is also included for a method of representing a driving situation in front of a vehicle for a night vision device.
