PURPOSE: To provide a ridgeline inspection and printing apparatus by which an erroneous judgment caused by the adhesion of dust particles, contamination and the like is reduced as far as possible, whose inspection accuracy is increased, by which a lot number or the like can be printed automatically on an inspectionpassed elastic blade and whose production efficiency can be enhanced.

CONSTITUTION: In a ridgeline inspection apparatus, the change in the contact pressure of a probe 4 at a time when an elastic blade B is moved to the probe 4 is converted into a voltage signal via a piezoelectric acceleration detector, the change is binary- coded additionally, and whether a ridgeline on the elastic blade B is good or not is inspected on the basis of a binary-coded signal value. In the ridgeline inspection apparatus, a printing device 21 for a lot number or the like is installed near the movement start position of a mounting stand 1. In addition, a cleaningliquid injection part 37 which can come into contact with the ridgeline in the edge part of the elastic blade B is installed so as to be capable of being raised and lowered between the probe 4 and the movement start position of the mounting stand 1 on the movement route of the edge part of the elastic blade B which is attached to the mounting stand 1.
