Abstract:

To provide a new aminopeptidase derived from Bacillus licheniformis, a gene for encoding the aminopeptidase, an expression vector containing the gene, a transformant by the expression vector, and a method for producing a natural-type protein utilizing the expression vector.

The gene for encoding the aminopeptidase has the advantage of more stably providing a large amount of the aminopeptidase by isolating the gene expressing the aminopeptidase, and producing the aminopeptidase required for the production of a natural-type human growth hormone from a recombinant human growth factor by gene recombination instead of a conventional purification method. The transformant by the expression vector, and the aminopeptidase are also provided.
