To provide a nurse call system that enables a nurse to closely monitor a patient's condition and surrounding environment without going to a hospital room.SOLUTION: A nurse call system consists of a nurse call slave unit installed in a bed 9 for patient M to call a nurse, a nurse call master unit installed in a nurse station to respond to a call made by the nurse call slave unit, and a camera for capturing the patient M on the bed. The nurse call master unit has a display unit 3b that displays the image of the patient M captured by the camera.
