Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detection apparatus capable of properly detecting a hand while associating the movements to the hand, and of effectively preventing error detection in a case where the hand is in a position without needing detection.SOLUTION: An object detection apparatus includes a first light emitting part 1A1, a second light emitting part 1A2, and a light receiving part 1B each of which detect when the hand exists in the region, which have regions for spatially detecting a hand respectively, when a distance between the hand and the sensors becomes a threshold distance or less in a corresponding region; a sensor driver 10 for setting a threshold distance about a region C to a threshold distance corresponding to a predetermined wipe operation of the hand when it is detected that the hand exists in a region A and a region B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
