Abstract:
To provide an object detection device which considers the installation property while using a multifrequency continuous wave method and a frequency modulation method.SOLUTION: An object detection device 1 includes a sensor unit 200 which emits a radio wave to a detection object by means of any of a frequency modulation method and a dual-frequency continuous wave method. The object detection device 1 comprises in a body unit 100: a detection object determination unit 113 which determines the type of the detection object on the basis of a result of receiving a reflection wave of the radio wave emitted to the detection object by the sensor unit 200; and a switching control unit 114 which operates the sensor unit 200 by switching the frequency modulation method and the dual-frequency continuous wave method on the basis of the type determined by the detection object determination unit 113.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
