PURPOSE: To perform the accurate and simple feed of works in a pallet to the arbitrary number of work feed positions regardless of the number of work containing rows in the pallet.

CONSTITUTION: Each row of works 8 contained in a pallet 9 are pushed by the press means G of a work pushing-out device F and the same number of works 8 as the number of rows are fed to a linear chute 26. The works 8 are then fed along a linear chute 26 until the works are inserted in the slits of the rotary chute 31 of a direction converting device J. In which case, by rotating a rotary chute 31 to a vertical position with the aid of a drive cylinder 34, only the predetermined number of the works 8 is respectively dropped in different branch chutes 35, 36, and 37 and fed to work feed positions B, C, and D, respectively.
