Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology effective to maintain oil separation performance at a high level when a refrigerant flow rate is changed in a refrigerant oil separator for separating oil included in a refrigerant.SOLUTION: A refrigerant inflow section 22 of an oil separator 20 is configured to: apply, to a refrigerant that flows from an inflow opening 22a into an oil separator main body 21 in an oil separation region 24 between the inflow opening 22a and an outflow opening 23a of a refrigerant outflow section 23, a turning flow for turning the refrigerant along an inner wall surface 21d of the oil separator main body 21; and apply, to oil stored in an oil storage region 25 below the outflow opening 23a of the refrigerant outflow section 23, an agitating flow for agitating the oil in the same direction as that of the turning flow by using the turning flow.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
