Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a fast-drying automobile coating improved in fast-drying property, having an excellent workability during coating therewith of the rear surface of an automobile floor, a fuel tank, etc., and capable of forming a coating film without tailing and lack of hiding, by incorporating thereinto a specific amt. of superfine anhydrous silica. CONSTITUTION:0.1-10wt.% based on a dryer, of superfine anhydrous silica (contg. at least 80wt.% particles of 2-15mum in size) as a drying promoter is incorporated into a car coating contg. as essential components a filler and at least one component selected from among waxes and synthetic resins. The resulting car coating is increased in fast-drying property without detriment to the inherent performance. Therefore, it is excellent in workability during coating therewith of the side of an automobile floor, a fuel tank, etc., and provides a coating film without tailing and lack of hiding.
