PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open/close body control system capable of reliably opening/closing of an open/close body while preventing a sharp speed change of a vehicle open/close body.SOLUTION: A sunroof device 1 has a roof panel 3 for opening/closing an opening 4 by a switch operation. The roof panel 3 carries out SW soft start/stop in which the speed is gradually increased/decreased when a switch is turned ON/OFF, and PO soft stop in which the speed is gradually decreased in a stop control area SC of a full close/open position. When the switch is turned OFF, in the vicinity of stop control area SC while a panel moves, the PO soft stop is carried out without carrying out the SW soft stop (shift control (a)). When reaching the stop control area SC while the soft start is carried out, the sunroof device shifts from the soft start control to the PO soft stop (shift control (b)). When the switch is turned ON while the panel is positioned in a stop control area SC, the PO soft stop is carried out without carrying out the soft start control (shift control (c)).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
