Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing mechanism and image formation apparatus which can suppress closing failure of an opening/closing door due to an erroneous operation and reduce the operation force at the time of the opening/closing operation.SOLUTION: An opening/closing mechanism includes: an opening/closing door which is rotationally supported in a movable manner between the close position of closing the opening of an apparatus body and the open position of opening the opening; an engagement member which is rotatably supported to the opening/closing door and engaged with an engagement object part provided in the apparatus body; a link member which is supported in a rotatable manner by a rotational shaft provided in the apparatus body; and a guide member which is supported in a rotatable manner with a support shaft in the opening/closing door and in a movable manner in the direction intersecting the rotation direction, and has a first guide surface moving while contacting the link member when the opening/closing door moves to the close position, and a second guide surface moving while contacting the link member when the opening/closing door moves to the open position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
